A multidisciplinary team from D3SM, combining expertise in mental health, computer science, and user experience, dedicated to advancing virtual reality research and innovation. Our mission is to support and guide individuals & teams both within and outside the Douglas Research Centre in developing VR-related projects.

 

We offer consultation sessions to assist with VR project design, knowledge transfer based on the latest VR research, and access to our catalog of existing VR interventions. We can also provide VR equipment loans (e.g., Meta headsets) and connect you with trusted VR development companies to help bring your project to life.

 

While our team have expertise in mental health, we also have strong technological development capabilities and have created our own VR applications, listed below.
